BUILDING SEASON

Building season.

Injury took training off the table. Energy redirected — into creation, into reading, into recovery. Not fighting the current. Riding it. Flow state most days. Open to the world. Playing golf with brothers, enjoying the weather, not forcing anything. The momentum is self-sustaining now.

When you can't train, you build. When you can't build, you train. Different seasons, same discipline.

Proof of concept. Assassin's Creed energy but different. Too early to say more.

And endless more ideas in the queue. The discipline is not starting everything — it’s channelling energy into the things with the highest leverage. Do less, but do it completely.

THINKING

Small steps, cascading. A snowball rolling downhill. You don't force the momentum — you set the conditions and let it compound.

Gearing toward flow. Not overthinking it. Aligning to what makes sense and dropping what doesn't. Four to six months of habit realignment behind me — the lag effect of that consistency is starting to show. Now the question is: which habits do I want compounding for the next four to six months? Set the smallest possible target. Start. Let it gather speed.

Practising detachment from outcomes. Do the work, release the result. Balance between intensity and play — go too far either way and you lose the thing that keeps it sustainable.

Increasingly comfortable being seen. Being a fool when I want to be. Standing in my own truth without needing external validation. The embarrassment of being visible is just ego in disguise — and ego is the thing I'm shedding, not the thing I'm protecting.

I believe I can do anything. That's not arrogance — it's the compound effect of having proven it to myself enough times in enough domains.
